The Kentucky Art Education Association Board met in Frankfort at 2nd Street School on Sat. January 11th. Missi started us out with Gelli Prints. Those who came early were able to create some beautiful prints. Miles hosted us in his terrific new art room overlooking the capital and the river! The meeting was very beneficial as we discussed things like: Program Review, New Art Standards, Conditions of art educators in Paducah as they reorganize the structure of the arts in their schools, and all of the many activities from each of our regions. We were finally able to give Judi Haynes "The Art Educator of the Year" Award. Congrats to Judi! Well Deserved for your tireless dedication to the Arts in Kentucky!
